Abstract: In Poland, there are many temples which have been adapted for other than their original purposes. Th e Orthodox, out of necessity of adaptation, comes across, in particular, after the Second World War. In this article, the problem of adaptation of the non- Orthodox churches as an example of the Orthodox church in Malczyce has been described (Lower Silesia Province — woj.  dolnośląskie).
